These open house days, geared for a large audience, feature a series of short talks on academics, admission procedures, financial aid and college life at Saint Vincent. In addition, the day includes a tour of the campus by current students and an opportunity to meet with faculty of various academic departments and programs.

Bearcat Day provides a personalized visit tailored to each student’s interests. These visits include a tour of campus with a current student, an individual meeting with your personal admission and financial aid counselor, and the opportunity to observe a class in your major of interest – allowing you to see our small classroom experience with current students and faculty. To further personalize your visit, you may also request to meet with a coach or faculty member. Bearcat Day is offered weekdays while school is in session, with a morning arrival time.

Saint Vincent College, Office of Admission and Financial Aid is open select Saturdays for Group Information Sessions and Admission Sessions. 

The Group Information Session gives prospective students the opportunity to learn more about Saint Vincent College and to explore the beautiful campus.  The Information Session begins at 10 a.m., and is followed by a campus tour given by an Admission Student Ambassador.  Information Sessions are approximately two hours for this visit.

The Admission Session gives high school seniors the opportunity to meet one-on-one with an admission counselor.  Our knowledgeable counselors can answer questions about student life, academic programs, athletics, and financial aid.  Admission Sessions are approximately thirty minutes for this visit.  

Appointments for academic programs, athletics or class observations may be scheduled for a weekday.

Overnight visits are available for ACCEPTED students only when the college is in session. The prospective student will eat dinner on campus and spend the night in the freshman residence hall with a host. The following day, the prospective student will sit in on 1-2 courses within their areas of interest and meet briefly with their admission & financial aid counselor. They may also request to meet with a coach, faculty member, and/or a representative from an extracurricular activity. Plan to be on campus until about 1 or 2 p.m. the following day. Overnight visits are not offered to transfer students. 

These visits are scheduled in Jan. and Feb. and allow you to gain in-depth insight into the vibrant small classroom experience, active engagement with faculty and in demand academic majors that you find as a Saint Vincent College student. Meet students and faculty with similar interests as you participate in classes with your peers. Also available through your visit will be a presentation on the challenging Honors Program and student guided campus tours.
